The Richardson Wedding | A Private Estate Wedding in Camino, California
On September 5, 2026, The Tipsy Tin headed to beautiful Camino, California for the Richardson wedding—a private-property celebration tucked into the Sierra Nevada foothills.
This wedding was such a great example of how a full-service mobile bars can work throughout different parts of a wedding day. From cocktails before the ceremony to a full reception bar and late-night drinks, we were able to move, reset, and create two completely different bar experiences for the couple and their guests.
What They Booked
For their wedding, the Richardsons chose our Premium Package (four signature cocktails, full bar service, beer, wine, spirits, mixers, garnishes, and professional bartending service), along with two of our mobile bar options: Betty, our freestanding mobile bar & Pearl, our champagne and cocktail cart.
With multiple bar setups and four signature cocktails throughout the evening, this package gave them plenty of variety while allowing us to change the experience as the wedding moved from one part of the property to another.
A Last-Minute Pre-Ceremony Service + Cocktail Hour
One of our favorite parts of working weddings is being able to adapt when plans change.
At the request of the family, we opened the bar earlier than originally planned for a pre-ceremony cocktail service. Guests were welcomed with beer/wine service and the bride and groom's signature drinks:
Kam's Classic Old Fashioned — a timeless whiskey cocktail that felt perfect for an early fall wedding.
Makenzie's Aperol Spritz — bright, bubbly, and refreshing for a warm September afternoon in the foothills.
Starting with a smaller cocktail selection kept service moving quickly while still giving guests something special as they arrived and settled in for the ceremony.
The Reception
After the first portion of service, our team tore down the bar setup and relocated to a second area of the family property for the reception while guests ate their dinner and did toasts. We made sure every table had two bottles of wine to keep them happy during this portion of service.
Once everything was reset, we opened the full bar, serving beer, wine, spirits, classic mixed drinks, and the couple's signature cocktails.
We also introduced two additional craft cocktails for the reception:
Creamy Coconut Hibiscus Margarita — tropical, floral, creamy, and a little unexpected.
Strawberry Vodka Basil Smash — fresh strawberries, vodka, and basil for a bright, refreshing cocktail that was perfect for the celebration.
Having different cocktails during different portions of the wedding gave guests something new to try as the evening progressed without putting the entire cocktail menu out at once.
We served guests until around midnight and had such a great time celebrating with the Richardson family and their friends.
